There are far too many people living the types of communities I was raised in who do not have access to current technology tools and resources. Further more we have many individuals who are aware some tech tools but do have adequate information, education and instruction for using these tools.
The Danntech philosophy is “Power to the people” Power to learn and grow socially, economically and financially. Technology is a key tool in attaining this power.
Technology must be made available and accessible to all people. Also education and instruction must be offered to teach people how technology can be used and practiced to improve environment and conditions.
Poor and low income communities need:
*Technology community centers and workshops
*Information about current technologies and how they can be utilized in their daily lives
*Education on how to use technology
*Education and information about what role politics play in making technology available to their communities and schools
